Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. 


Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southwest to south over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.

The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains. metro manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains. Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains. Thunderstorms are likely to occur over these areas.

PAGASA Weather News and Update for Tropical Depression Ruby at 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Depression "RUBY" was estimated based on all available data including Tagaytay doppler radar at 80 km Southwest of Ambulong, Tanauan City, Batangas or at 90 km West Northwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro (13.7°N, 120.4°E) with maximum winds of 60 kph. It is forecast to move West at 13 kph. Northeast monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.

Metro Manila and the provinces of Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Mindoro including Lubang island will have rains with gusty winds with moderate to rough seas. The rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON, Bicol region and MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. PAGASA Weather News and Update as of July 2, 2014 with a low pressure area embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), rains are expected to fall in the southern and central parts of the Philippines, the weather bureau said.

In its weather bulletin the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the LPA was spotted at 850 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes.

Pagasa added that the Bicol region, Visayas, and Mindanao would experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains.

Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds blowing from the Southwest to West will prevail over Visayas with slight to moderate seas.

The regions of CARAGA and Davao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. The rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest to west will prevail with slight to moderate seas.
