PAGASA Weather News and Forecast


PAGASA Weather News and Update at 4:00AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 185 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (13.9°N, 125.9°E). 

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. 


Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southeast to southwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to southeast with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA Weather News and Daily Forecast the Southwest Monsoon affecting the Western Luzon. Meanwhile, at 4:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 840 km East of Mindanao (7.9ºN, 134.8ºE).

The provinces of Zambales and Bataan will experience occasional rains. Visayas, Mindanao and the provinces of Mindoro will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the western section of Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to west over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA Weather News and Update for Typhoon Glenda


PAGASA Weather News and Update at 4:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon "Glenda" was located based on all available data at 380 km west southwest of Dagupan City (15.8ºN, 116.8ºE) with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 20 kph. Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 940 km east of northern Mindanao (10.2°N, 135.6°E).

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON and The Provinces of Mindoro, Palawan, La Union, Benguet and Pangasinan Will have occasional rains. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southwest will prevail over the rest of the country with moderate to rough seas.

PAGASA Weather News and Update as of July 9, 2014 the Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Western Visayas.

MIMAROPA and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite and Batangas will have monsoon rains. Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and Western Visayas will experience occasional rains. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the south to southwest over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
