PAGASA Weather News and Update for Tropical Storm "PABLO"



PAGASA Weather News and Update for Tropical Storm “PABLO”. Public storm warning signal number 3 has been hoisted over the following areas, where the weather bureau warned of 101-185 kph winds in at least 18 hours:
-Bohol
-Siquijor
-Southern Cebu
-Southern Negros Oriental
-Southern Negros Occidental
-Misamis Oriental
-Bukidnon
-Lanao del Sur
-Lanao del Norte
-Misamis Occidental
-Zamboanga del Norte
-Camiguin 

The following areas, meanwhile, have been placed under signal number 2 (61-100 kph winds):
-Northern Palawan
-Calamian Grp. Of Islands
-Cuyo Islands
-Southern Leyte
-Antique
-Iloilo
-Rest of Cebu
-Camotes Island
-Rest of Negros Oriental
-Rest of Negros Occidental
-Guimaras
-Surigao del Norte
-Siargao
-Surigao del Sur
-Dinagat Province
-Agusan del Norte
-Agusan del Sur
-Davao del Norte
-Samal Island
-Compostela Valley
-Davao Oriental
-North Cotabato
-Zamboanga del Sur
-Zamboanga Sibugay
-Maguindanao

Signal number 1 (30-60 kph winds) is meanwhile up in:
-Aklan
-Capiz
-Leyte
-Biliran
-Davao del Sur
-Sultan Kudarat
-Basilan
-Sarangani
-South Cotabato

"Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signals are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides," Pagasa said.

Those living in coastal areas under public storm  warning signal numbers 3 and 2 have also been alerted against big waves or storm surges, particularly in Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat, Bohol and Leyte provinces where waves may reach three to six meters in height.

Bagyong PABLO Weather News and Update



PAGASA Weather  News and Update as of today the eye of Typhoon "PABLO" was located based on radar, satellite and surface data at 60 km Southeast of the Dumaguete City (09.0 °N, 123.7 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 160 kph and gustiness of up to 195 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 24 kph.

Palawan, Western and Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao and Northern Mindanao will experience stormy weather with rough to very rough seas. The provinces of Occidental and Oriental Mindoro and Romblon, Southern Leyte and the rest of Mindanao will have rains with gusty winds with moderate to rough seas. Central Luzon, National Capital Region, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, rest of MIMOROPA and eastern visayas will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms. The regions of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains. The rest of the Luzon will be partly cloudy with brief rainshowers. 

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over the rest of the country with moderate to rough seas.

Typhoon PABLO Weather News and Update


PAGASA Weather News and Update for Typhoon "PABLO" the eye was located based on satellite and surface data at 390 km Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur (07.1 °N, 129.9 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is forecast to move West at 26 kph. 

The regions of Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Central Visayas and the provinces of Davao Del Norte, Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley, North Cotabato, Northern part of Zamboanga Del Norte and Southern Leyte will experience stormy weather with rough to very rough seas. The rest of Mindanao and Visayas and Palawan will have rains with gusty winds with moderate to rough seas. The regions of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos and Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy skies with light rains while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated brief rainshowers. 

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to north will prevail over the rest of the country with moderate to rough seas.
