PAGASA Weather News and Update for Typhoon JOSE

PAGASA Weather News and Update for at 4:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon "JOSE" was located based on all available data at 870 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.3ºN, 131.2ºE) with maximum sustained winds of 195 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 230 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 11 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon.
 
Ilocos Region and Central Luzon will experience Monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have occasional rains. Visayas will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
 
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the south to southwest over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
