PAGASA Weather News and Update Today at 4:00 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 60 km Northeast of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro (12.6°N, 121.5°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas and Mindanao.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, CARAGA and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of the country will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough. Light to moderate winds coming from the Northeast to north will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the northwest to west over the rest of Luzon. The coastal waters along these areas will be slight to moderate.
