Melindo vs Estrada Fight latest News

Milan Melindo of Philippines vs Juan Francisco Estrada Juan Francisco Estrada of Mexico newly-crowned world flyweight king fight is schedule on July 27, 2013 clash in Macau.  The Venetian Casino & Resort in Macao, China will be the venue as the WBO flyweight and WBA super world flyweight titles. 

Milan Melindo is the challenger on this fight. Melindo made a splash in the undercard of the Zou Shiming headliner by knocking out Indonesian Tommy Seran, putting himself on course for a mandatory title shot at Estrada.

Milan Melindo has a career record of 29 wins in 29 bouts with the Boxing odds as 12 of his wins were by knockout. He stands at 5 feet 2 inches tall with a reach of 64 inches and hails from the Philippines. He fights from an orthodox stance. As Estrada was on his way out, Mexican promoter Fernando Beltran called his fighter so he could pose for a shot with the unbeaten Cebu hotshot.

Juan Francisco Estrada is 23 years of age and stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall with a reach of 66 inches and an orthodox stance. He hails from Mexico and has a career record of 24 wins and 2 losses with 18 out of his 24 wins coming by knockout. Known as “El Gallo” he has never been knocked out.
