PAGASA Weather News and Update, September 6, 2012 as of today, there does no tropical cyclone exist within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas.
The western section of Visayas and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Light southeasterly to variable winds will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be slight except during thunderstorms. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast to Northwest with slight to moderate seas.
