PAGASA Update for Tropical Storm "FABIAN"

PAGASA Update for the Weather today, the Southwest moonsoon affecting the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas and Zamboanga Peninsula will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to southeast slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA Weather News for Tropical Strom "FABIAN" at 4:00 a.m. today, the center of Tropical Depression "FABIAN" was estimated based on all available data at 340 km West of Laoag, Ilocos Norte (17.7°N, 117.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 11 kph. 

The provinces of Bataan, Zambales and the regions of Ilocos and MIMAROPA will experience Monsoon rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. 

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to southeast will prevail over Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere winds will be light to moderate coming from the southeast to south with slight to moderate seas.
