PAGASA Weather News and Update as of 4:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 280 km east of Baler, Aurora (15.5ºN, 124.5ºE).

Metro Manila, the Regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslide. The rest of Luzon and Mindanao will be cloudy with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds coming from the southwest to west will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.
