PAGASA Weather News and Updates as of October 2, 2012 at 2:00 am today, the Tropical Depression was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 550 km West of Northern Luzon (17.2°N, 114.7°E)with maximum winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move almost stationary. 

Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon and Mimaropa will be cloudy with occasional moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms. Calabarzon, Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will have occasional light to moderate rains or thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms. 

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast to East will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the Southwest to South over Central Luzon. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest to West with slight to moderate seas.
