PAGASA Weather News and Update as of October 25, 2012 for Tropical Storm "OFEL"


PAGASA Weather News and Update as of October 25, 2012 at 4:00 a.m. today, the center of Tropical Storm "OFEL" was estimated based on satellite and surface data over Sibuyan Island, Romblon(12.4°N, 122.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph. 

SIGNAL # 2: Masbate including Ticao Islands, Romblon, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island, Marinduque and Batangas , Aklan, Antique, Iloilo, Capiz, Guimaras, Northern part of Negros Occidental.

SIGNAL #1: Metro Manila, Bataan, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Southern part of Quezon Province, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Burias Island, Calamian group of Island, Cuyo Island, Leyte Provinces, Samar Provinces, Cebu, Camotes Island, Rest of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to northeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon and from the southeast to south over the rest of Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
