4 People 'Massacred' in Dumalag, province of Capiz. The Police of Dumalag province of Capiz is still investigating the massacre of four people, two of them children, whose bodies were discovered in Dumalag town Tuesday afternoon.

The bodies of the four victims bore hack and stab wounds when found in St. Martin St., Pob. Dumalag, Capiz at about 3 p.m.

The victims are identified as retired teacher Ramona Gafate, 70; Wilma Catalan, 27; and Catalan's children Zoe Catalan, 3; and Catherine Yuri Catalan, 2.

A separate report on Iloilo-based news site The Daily Guardian said Gafate’s nephew and former Dumalag town councilor Martin Frac found the victims inside Gafate's house.

Investigators suspect the victims may have been killed last Monday, the report said.The investigators also found a bloodied kitchen knife and a suicide note, but police did not immediately disclose the contents of the supposed note. 


The case is still further investigation if there is a foul-play involved.  Updates of the massacre is posted in this website as soon as possible.
