What is Microsoft Word?
Microsoft Word is a word processing software in Windows application.
Parts of the Microsoft Word Screen
1.    Title Bar – displays the name of the document and the name of the application
2.    Menu Bar – display the main menus
3.    Standard Toolbar – contains frequently used commands
4.    Formatting Toolbar – display buttons used to modify the appearance of the document
5.    Ruler – serves as margin
6.    Document Area – a place to enter and display text
7.    Scroll Bar – used to move up and down the page using the mouse
8.    Drawing Toolbar – consists of different tools used for drawing basic shapes and for layout text
9.    Status Bar – it displays page number
10.   Task Bar
11.  Control Icon – contains minimize, restore, maximize and close commands
12.  Minimize Button – used to turn the screen into an icon
13.  Restore Button – used to return
14.  Maximize Button – used to turn the  window to occupy the full screen
15. Close Button – used to close the application
