PAGASA Weather Forecast and Update for Typhoon HUANING at 4:00 a.m. today, the eye of Typhoon "HUANING" was located based on all available data at 420 km North of Itbayat, Batanes (25.0°N, 122.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 165 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 200 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 20 kph.

Batanes Group of Islands will have rains with gusty winds. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the rest of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA Weather Forecast for Typhoon "HUANING" the eye was located based on all available data at 910 km east of Itbayat, Batanes (22.0°N, 132.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph. 

Batanes Group of Islands will experience rains with gusty winds. The regions of Cordillera, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Caraga and the Provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Nueva Ecija, Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. 

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the north to northwest will prevail over Northern and Eastern Luzon and coming from the west to southwest over Eastern Visayas. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds coming from the west to southwest will prevail over Mindanao and the rest of Visayas and from the northwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters along these areas will be slight to moderate.
