The 2013 FIBA Asia Championship live coverage for men’s basketball is all set for Aug. 1 kickoff in the Philippines. Qatar will face Gilas Pilipinas in a crucial battle on tonight to determine the seeding in the tournament’s knockout stages. The Group B leader now holds a 3-0 record to lead Group E while Jordan is dead last with a 0-3 card in the competition that stakes a berth in 2014 FIBA World Championships.
China, Iran, South Korea and Philippines are the few of the favorites to win this year’s FIBA Asia Championship. Iran is lead by priced center Hamed Haddadi and winger Samad Nikkhah Bahrami having the team won the Williams Jones Cup last month in Taipei.
